Multi-Clienting, Mail System and TVT Lets do something bout these.

Multi-Clienting:

Lets just disable this, put on a good gameguard that could protect us from this. As of now, there's that certain laggy and spiky feel when i do multi-clients, cant move the mouse freely and easily. dunno whats it about, its not the pc specs, i guess its with the new client or whatsoever.

Mailing System:

Maybe few of us are aware of this actually, or is using this. why not put a command @mail that allows us to open our mailbox anywhere. this would be a compensation for the multi-clienting when transfering items or zeny and other stuff. (well there's guild storage for you, you can use that to transfer items from one account to another).

TVT:

What the heck is the use of this? 1m zeny reward? who'd go for that, you'd rather go hunting treasure boxes in abyss instead of getting frustrated being flamed and owned by other players. make up some rewards that would make this thing capture players attention. the fact that if it had a reward that can be exploited via multi-clienting, lets think of some sorta solution to that.

*how bout badges you obtain when you win, same with THQ points/tokens. so this doesnt become a server of pure farmers and silly hat makers that all they do is sit around town, block the NPCs and pretend to look cool.

Then just refrain from doing multi clienting? As you've mentioned you only experience " lag " when you do that, so i'm guessing that your RO runs normally with only one client c:

thats not my point. my point is, they are afraid that multi-clieting will exploit the good rewards of TVT. if there are any good rewards from it. and most ppl whine about eske-whores, link-whores, bragi-whores and many other buff-whores out there.

I'm not sure what you're getting at? In your first post, you're saying that you lag when you multiclient, but in your second post you're talking about TvT exploitation. Could you clarify?

I believe i just answered your first post of question about " multi clienting " . I wasn't referring to the " tvt " post of yours ;p . Well now that i'm here let me tell you about the " tvt " ( multi clienting ) . ( This is about the buffers ) Eske is automatically disabled when entering the arena ( that's what i know of ) as for links ( other than eske ) bragi etc.. I don't really know if we should disable multi clienting because of this? Just cause people use it to do link buffs and what not? what about the others who uses multi clients/clienting for some other reasons? Well for me it's fine to what it is.. But ofc i'm not the one who's going to decide about that c: . Also, you were saying that " multi clienting will exploit the good rewards of tvt? " as to what len said.. Please clarify further enough.

all that i posted here are related to each other. removing that multi-clienting for many reasons, one is for those buffs-whores, two will be for multi-clienting exploitables. multi-clienting exploitables would be, events and such. as for TVT getting exploited, i am suggesting that TVT could get more better rewards. what did they tell me bout TVT getting better rewards? it could be exlpoited through multi-clienting.

as for other reasons in multi-clienting, like item transfer, zeny transfer and such. you can use a guild storage shared by multi accounts, or you can use the Mailing System. thats whats it for, sending/transfering items/zenies. LOL, try exploring the new features of Ragnarok my dear. (have you also heard about the Auction House?, its a crap idea for RO to adopt that system, we have @autotrade)

well, i dunno if its just that me getting the lag and spiky feel and all with multi-clienting. but that isnt my point, i'm all talking bout here is TVT, and making use of it. its not much used coz the reward is crap, and if we'd put some good reward with it, it can be exploited through multi-clienting. thats what ppl told me when i said, "why not put event points, or ecoins on TVT, or something more useful."

The TvT NPC was not created as a way for getting rewards, it was made because players wanted more entertaining things for PvP. There are GM-held and automated events made for getting rewards.

As for buff-whoring: Players can just get buffs from other players just as easy as they can from multiclienting, and disabling multiclienting will not stop it.

Most useful items can't be stored to guild storage, like legendary weapons, donates, and heuros.

The mailing system is hardly helpful when you have to transfer large amounts of items (i.e, full sets of gear for other characters). Ryugi and I are pretty up-to-date and well informed when it comes to the features.

Amen to that Lenaia. Kotzen.. I can assure you that i know the features of this game my dear c: , eitheeeer way i don't see a " solid " reason why you want to disable it. But it's your suggestion, so i respect that, were just merely letting you know our thoughts about it too~
