[Archetype]

With the Ragnarok Online player a dying breed, and HiddenRO running on along for it's years. It has come to the the point where a complete wipe is in order. The wipe at the moment is planned to wipe all characters and all accounts. This will leave everyone at the same level and as characters are being deleted, open up names of old characters that may or may not have ever been used. We do ask you be polite about this and not take the names of current players, but it is on a first come, first server basis with an exception to GM names, expect your character to be deleted if you register Archetype. We do plan to do this before KoK, and may push the date back a bit to give people time to prepare. Other changes are below.

As MidnightRO hasn't bloomed as much as we had hoped, after running for over half a year, we have decided to close it. But with MidnightRO closing we leave a hole in our budget that we plan to fill with a Team Fortress 2 server. Though in order to play, you will need to purchase it. At the moment it is $20, but Steam does have sales on it sometimes. http://store.steampowered.com/app/440/

HiddenRO

• Wipe, as explained above.
  
• Change of rates - 5000/5000/1000 5% cards, 1% MvP cards
  
• Possibly revert of SoS to the old price
  
• Decrease the chance of getting OCA to increase their value
  
• Nerfing mobs in training grounds
  
• Nerfing bio4 mvps(Even though it's not released yet, more than likely no one could touch them after the wipe)
  
• Possibly change items(Donations/legendaries/etc)
  
• As most bans are account based, all bans are being reverted.
  
• Any donation made within the past year will be readded to their new account if they have the txn id and email used(Can be found in paypal logs)

Team Fortress 2

• Nothing planned yet, open for community suggestions.
  
• Will be in testing to see if the server can handle it, otherwise a different game will be run.

To make a wipe for 15 people playing.. i do not agree with that but the server is not mine. For the safe of Hro in my opinion someone should have done these actions written above some time ago not now that the server counts 15 active people (except the merchants). Wipe the items = wipe the players , at least me for sure.

While many current players won't agree with this, at this point I do think this is probably the best course of action. A fresh start will kill the difference between new players and 'pro' players and put everyone on the same page. It will encourage current players to party up to hunt and level and force a sense of team effort, making new friends and strengthening the bond of old friends.

It is sad to see everything that we've worked for being wiped, but in the end it's for the best, and I will stand by Hidden through anything.

Not to seem hostile towards you but I've never seen a wiped server working again. Especially the ones which had the 1st wipe after years. Ask even Borf(if it is even possible). Plus i don't see any good situation between GM and players. Who guarantee us that GMs won't help their characters after the wipe?

wiping out is not the best answer to revive this server.. want people want is 3rd job.. thats why they quit... you should try to insert 3rd job to get more new players.. We all dis agree for wipe out. thanks..

Sorry, but honestly, it has come to a point where the GM team can't do anything more to increase the population. We try advertising a whole bunch, but not much has changed. Now, that the wipe has been decided to put into place, you guys have a new chance to make the server better, the gap between newbies and old players is no more, and most of the items won't be as overpriced as you guys make them. It's a chance to start anew, and if you support us, we can possibly have a higher population.

I don't get the idea that a GM would help their character, because all the time that this complaint has been said, it's usually not true. To be straightforward, GMs cannot do anything to their characters to give them extra benefits. Maybe an admin, such as Archetype, Heartless, Villeta, and Ayaka, but it isn't something they would do. As far as I know, any GM in the past that abused their Game Master character was banned, and removed from the GM team. After, a Game Master gets banned, the admins make sure there's no way that can happen again, and if it did happen again, it would be blatantly obvious, and the GM would get removed & banned.

As for 3rd jobs, they're not happening anytime soon. This has been discussed countless times with the players and the staff, and it's come to the result where we're not going to implement anything that's not even completed.

Hopefully, it'll turn out be a higher population. But before we get that, we still need the support from our current players.

As for your donates, if you donated in a range of a year, I believe your donation credits get returned to you.

Well, during hide and seek they can tell each other where they're hiding on msn and it happened so many times.

Events are different, but yeah, it happens time to time. It isn't something we can usually spot, but if there is a chance to see what is truly going on, the Game Master will be penalized.
